Sheldon, Iowa

Sheldon had two railroads, including an east/west Milwaukee Road line and a north/south Omaha Road line. Today, the Milwaukee Road is abandoned west of Sheldon, but is owned by Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern (Canadian Pacific) east of Sheldon. The Omaha Road is now Union Pacific.
